Uncommitted. Shows tremendous upside as a two-way prospect, both offensively and on the mound. Long, tall frame at 6-foot-7 with added physicality still to come. Fast hands from the right side of the plate, showing power to anywhere on the field. Topped out at 91 mph on his throws from the outfield and was up to 90 mph with his fastball on the bump. Clocked in at 6.87 secs for his 60 yard dash. Overall game will continue to make jumps.
2027 MIF/RHP Xavier Roman-Giannuzzi (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame that will continue to add physicality. Pounds the strike zone and generates lots of swings and misses, up to 86 mph with still more in there. Offensively the hands are quick and drives the ball gap-to-gap with intent. Confident defender up the middle who can throw from different angles, topping out at 88 mph across the diamond. Also displayed an above average speed tool with a 6.75 secs 60 yard dash time. Checks multiple boxes and makes a difference in the lineup. Trending upward and a strong follow this spring.
2027 RHP Braxton Stalvey (West Orange HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Physical downhill presence with valued lower half. Fastball reached 86 mph while sitting 84-85 mph, the changeup sits 77-78 mph, and mixed with a breaking ball at 76-77 mph. The mechanics are there and a good understanding of his motions. Body moves fluently with a ¾ arm slot. Generates uncomfortable swings.
2027 RHP Bennett Johnston (Winter Park HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Projectable frame. Quick arm and creates deception, timing issues on his release. Plenty of movement with his full arsenal. Up to 88 mph with his fastball with an above average changeup at 77-78 mph, nasty 74-75 mph slider with bite. Commanded the zone very well striking out three of the four hitters he faced in game action.
2028 IF Brooks Markow (St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Continued to stand out from the left side of the plate offensively, lacing the ball gap-to-gap. Works in rhythm and sync from the left side, generating above average bat speed and finding the barrel often. Present pull side juice as well. Clocked in at 6.69 secs for his 60 yard dash time, displaying present athleticism.
2028 RHP Ethan Miller (Bishop Moore Catholic, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame that will continue to fill out, add physicality. Shows explosiveness off the rubber and drives to the plate well with his back half. Quick arm and had his fastball up to 84 mph, mostly sitting 82-83. Mixed in a quality changeup (74-75 mph) and a curveball (70-71 mph) combination. Strike thrower that does it with confidence and poise.
2028 RHP/OF RJ Martell (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Made an impact as a two-way player throughout the event. Present physicality. Produced a standout round of batting practice, spraying the baseball to all fields with still more power to come. Lined one to the left side to reach base in game action. Mixed in an upper 70s changeup and a low to mid 70s breaking ball that he threw for strikes, generated swings and misses. Racked up three strikeouts in the four batters he faced during game action. Look for a jump in velocity this upcoming spring.
2029 RHP Carter Lewis (Lake Brantley HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Showcased a standout arsenal during his bullpen, where he had his fastball sitting 87-88 mph consistently and topping out at 89. Showed above average command with his changeup that sat 75-76 mph. Big frame with plenty of upside. Talented skillset for a young pitcher that is trending in the right direction. A big year ahead of him.
2029 C/3B Preston Wetherell (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Generated quality contact up the middle during batting practice. Sharp line drives with a solid foundation. Showed a good two-strike approach in game action, keeping it simple and ripped a line drive to left field for a single. Behind the plate, the throws are accurate and can handle framing well too. Calls a solid game with his pitchers. Young backstop that will continue to improve his overall game.
2029 MIF/RHP Drew Goldman (Bishop Moore Catholic, FL)
Mature swing, off the bat with several results to the gaps with easy flowing hands. Presents himself well with a relaxed approach. Defensively, reacts well off the bat, moves feet quick and releases at a good point. Off the mound he can supply efficient strikes with a solid understanding of the zone.
