MIKe MAERZ | CEO/DIRECTOR OF SCOUTING/SENIOR ADVISOR
Mike is the Director of Scouting and Senior Advisor of Diamond Prospect Media. He resides in St Augustine, FL and is originally from Philadelphia, PA. Michael graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School in 2008 before going on to receive his Sport Management Degree in 2012 along with his Master of Business Administration from The University of Tampa in 2016. Michael’s expansive baseball network is derived from his vast experience in the field at the high school, collegiate and professional level not only in the state of Florida, but at the national level as well.

KENNEDY HAYLES | DIRECTOR OF Operations/Central Florida Scout
Originally from Bridgeport, Connecticut, Kennedy currently lives in Winter Park, Florida. Kennedy graduated from Freedom High School in 2016 before going on to receive an International Business degree from Rollins College along with a German minor. Kennedy Assists in the day to day operations of Diamond prospect media while also serving as an academic advisor and tutor. He has been an area scout for the central Florida region since 2019 and adds coverage to a part of the state that is rich with talent.

Peter is the Director of Business Development and Co-Founder here at Diamond Prospect Media. Originally from Huntington, NY, Peter currently lives in West Palm Beach, Florida. Peter has been the Director of Player Development and an area scout for the South Florida region since our founding in 2019 and prides himself on finding and evaluating some of the top tier prospects in the state.

RICHARD “RICO” NESLER | PLAYER DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR/ WEST FLORIDA AREA SCOUT
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland; Rico played high school ball at Riverdale Baptist from 2010-2014 where he was ranked No. 1 for a middle infielder in the state of Maryland, No. 13 in the nation. After graduating from Riverdale Baptist, he attended Dundalk Community College in Baltimore. During the summer of his freshman season, Rico signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Phillies at the age of 21. Rico brings a wealth of knowledge at many different levels of the game and works with players on a daily basis.

JETT ROSENSTEIN | WEST FLORIDA AREA SCOUT/PLAYER ADVISOR
Jett is a Player Advisor and West Florida Area Scout with Diamond Prospect Media. Originally from Boca Raton; Jett currently lives in Tampa, Florida. A Starter for Spanish River High School, He is currently playing Outfield and pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Tampa. Jett has been an area scout for the West Florida region since Summer 2020 and prides himself on finding and evaluating some of the top tier prospects in the state.

kURT COHEN | NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGIATE SCOUT
Kurt is the National High School and Collegiate Scout of Diamond Prospect Media. Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Kurt was apart of the state-champion St.Thomas Aquinas Baseball Program, where he also achieved his diploma in 2019.He was also part of the state-championship winning program Archbishop McCarthy high school back in 2015. Kurt was recruited to pitch at the Number 1 ranked NCAA Division 2 Baseball Program at the University of Tampa. Along with his athletics, he is currently pursuing a degree in Finance with his focus in Investment Banking. Kurt continues to provide extensive analysis throughout the high school and collegiate levels as he evaluates top talent throughout multiple regions of Florida as well.

JOSEPH SCHULZ | SOUTH FLORIDA AREA SCOUT
Joseph is part of the scout team that covers the South Florida region looking for the best talent the state has to offer. A former two way player, Joey graduated from Hagerty in 2015 where he was second team Seminole Athletic Conference before ultimately hanging up the cleats to pursue a degree in Chemistry at Rollins College. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Neuroscience at the University of Miami, Joey prides himself on looking for players that are not only naturally talented but more importantly, mentally tough.

Anthony is originally from West Palm Beach, Florida. Growing up in South Florida, he was always fascinated with the filmmaking process. He moved to Orlando a couple of years ago to pursue my passion for filmmaking. Currently he is pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Art at University of Central Florida. Anthony will bring a creative perspective to the team and we are thrilled to see what he has to come for us.
