Power Baseball 2026 Fall Season Tryout Camp Standouts Part 2

From August 14-16th, Power Baseball held their 2026 Fall Season Tryout Camp at TNXL Academy and various HS fields in the Orlando area over a three day stretch which included bullpens, a pro-style workout day, and live game action. Below is a list of players from the 2027-2030s (Part 2 of 3) classes that stood out amongst our scouting staff and will be strong follows heading into the upcoming fall and HS seasons. Part 1 is HERE

2029 RHP/1B Ricky Frazier III (TNXL Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Long, tall, athletic frame standing at 6-foot-7, 200 pounds with enormous upside as the frame will continue to fill out, adding physicality which will translate to multiple jumps in his overall game. Quick arm and creates some downhill action as he sat 81-83 mph with his fastball, touching 85 during his bullpen. Mixed in a low 70s curveball with depth, shape and a mid 70s changeup as well. Much more to come. Offensively from the right side he displayed a pure power swing with fast, strong hands. Lets the ball travel and drives it to the outfield with ease, displaying real power potential. Finds the barrel often and sprays the ball to both fields. Defensively he showed quality throws and movements from both the outfield and around the bag at 1B.
2027 RHP Bennett Johnston (Winter Park HS, FL)
The recent Emory commit displayed quality drive off the rubber and generated an impressive arm whip when throwing his fastball (87-88 mph) that was supported by an effective changeup (76-77 mph) and a slurvy slider at 71-72 mph. Tall stature that gets the most usage of his body. Valuable delivery with mechanics that are repeatable. In game action was able to collect several swing and misses, off balance approaches from hitters and kept a clean presence with his delivery. Strong follow as he enters a big senior season.
2028 RHP/OF RJ Martell (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Recent Jacksonville commit. Tall, physical frame with present athleticism. Creates consistent hard contact from the right side of the plate, showing gap-to-gap power and driving the ball with intent. Homered, delivered multiple run scoring hits during the summer. Aggressive routes to the ball with an above average arm which also translated to the mound where he featured a fastball up to 89 mph. Mostly sat 86-88 along with a low 70s curveball, upper 70s changeup. Prospect that continues to trend upward overall.
2027 MIF Justin Cronin (Spruce Creek HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with present strength throughout. Stood out all throughout the summer months for his offensive production, continued to show that at the event. The hands are loose and quick from the right side, staying direct to the ball. Plenty of hard line drives during batting practice and the pull side pop is there as well. Registered a top exit velocity of 97 mph. Smooth defender up the middle who ranges freely to his right and left with accurate throws across the diamond.
2030 RHP/IF Lucas Garcia (Orangewood Christian, FL)
A name to bookmark for the future as he displayed two-way potential. Shows present strength throughout, notably in the lower half. On the mound he mostly sat 81-83 mph with a heavy fastball while mixing in both a mid 70s slider and changeup. Offensively there is present pop from the right side, does a quality job of not trying to do too much and finds a consistent barrel. Lots of potential.
2029 RHP/C Anthony Welch (Spruce Creek HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Presents a delivery that uses the whole body, creates length and force downhill. The fastball sits 80-81 mph, paired with a curveball at 70-72 mph and sharp changeup at 76-77 mph. Present feel for the zone. During the game action was able to be dominant, using the arsenal and paint corners.
2028 RHP Bobby Welker (TNXL Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Physical frame, notably in the lower half. Quick arm and stayed balanced throughout his delivery. Showcased a fastball that reached 88 mph with zip. Paired with a changeup at 77-78 mph with late life. Polished mechanics, calm presence on the mound. One of the stronger arms of the class. Solid rotation of the lower half that allows the upper half to pair up. Showed out in his pen and game action.
2027 LHP Trevin Bean (Harmony HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Tossed a quality bullpen. Showed a strong stride with a chest high leading elbow to the plate. Fastball topped 86 mph (sat 84-85) while using an off speed at 76-78 mph. Legit lefty option. Followed that up in the game portion as he dealt a solid inning. Soft contact was made while staying true to his approach.
2029 OF Lukas Smiley (Oviedo HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Offensively from the right side he crushed a handful of line drives into center field during his batting practice session, doing a quality job keeping his hands through the zone and staying up the middle. Calm, compact approach that presents a good follow through. On the defensive side showed quality routes and ability to get the ball in quickly. A growing talent that will continue to fill out and see jumps in power.
2029 C/OF Charles Body (Bayside HS, FL)
Uncommitted. During batting practice from the right side he ripped multiple pitches back up the middle and used the whole field. Quality usage of the lower half. Calm presence with strong knowledge of the zone. This translated to game action when he launched one deep into the left center gap with runners on for an RBI triple. Does a good job of staying back, trusting his hands through the zone, and generating bat whip.
2028 IF Wesley Lawrence (Merritt Island HS, FL)
Recent UCF commit. Possesses a tall, athletic frame that will continue to fill out and add physicality. The ball really jumps off the bat with present pull side juice from the left side. The barrel has a consistent, smooth finish each swing. Delivered multiple run scoring hits during the summer that were driven deep into the gaps. Defensively, he showcased smooth efforts to ground balls around the bag. Middle of the order bat.
2028 OF/RHP Juan Antonio Fuster (Spruce Creek HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Present physicality throughout. Offensively, the swing from the right side continues to trend upward each time we see him. Presents sharp liners into the outfield and stays short and compact with a silent load. This was seen in game action when he laced a ball into left-center field for a standup double. Adds versatility from the mound and outfield as he plays both with consistency.
2031 OF Ethan Adzie (TNXL Academy, FL)
Obviously there is plenty of time for growth and development, but a bookmarked name for the future as the hit tool stands out. From the right side he drove the ball with intent for multiple line drives during batting practice. Showcases a mature approach and swing as he looks comfortable in the box. Defensively, he showcases solid instincts and reaction with accurate throws to the bag.
2027 IF/RHP Gavin Greathouse (Trinity Catholic, FL)
Recent UNF commit. Tall, athletic frame that has consistently added physicality each season. Continued to establish himself as a legit two-way player, notably on the offensive side and on the mound. During batting practice from the right side he crushed multiple pitches over the left, left-center field wall. Wide, controlled stance at the plate that presents a consistent barrel pull side and up the middle. Off the mound he possesses an upper 80s fastball with life and off-speed stuff that puts away opposing hitters. Look for another jump in velocity to come this fall. Trending upward in his class overall nationally.
2029 C/1B Preston Wetherell (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Presents a stronger presence in the box each time we see him from the right side. Creates line drives that exit the infield sharply. Simple, yet unique finish in the box. Creates damage and builds an approach in any situation. Knows the zone with a mature outlook each at bat. Can control the run game behind the plate with a 2.1 pop time.
2028 MIF Madden Mann (Columbia HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Showcased his above average bat speed from the left side, driving a ball into the right field corner for a standup double during game action. Easy, smooth barrel action that gets repeated each swing. Trusts his approach with adjustments made when needed. Moves cleanly in the infield with a strong, accurate arm. Lean frame that will continue to see jumps in power as he fills out.
2027 OF/RHP Chase Dougherty (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Physical, athletic frame. During batting practice from the right side he was able to spray the ball to both sides of the field, displaying quick hands and pull side pop. When on time he can drive the ball back up the middle for hard line drives as well. From the outfield, the throws come in with accuracy and carry. The athleticism shows up with a quick first step to the ball, cutting it down in the gaps. Above average runner who creates pressure on the base paths and gets quality jumps on the pitcher to steal the bag.
