Power Baseball 2026 Fall Season Tryout Camp Standouts Part 1

From August 14-16th, Power Baseball held their 2026 Fall Season Tryout Camp at TNXL Academy and various HS fields in the Orlando area over a three day stretch which included bullpens, a pro-style workout day, and live game action. Below is a list of players from the 2027-2030s (Part 1 of 3) classes that stood out amongst our scouting staff and will be strong follows heading into the upcoming fall and HS seasons.

2028 LHP/OF Jacob Leith (St.Thomas Aquinas HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Was one of the top two-way standouts, both on the mound and offensively. Projectable, athletic frame standing at 6-foot-2, 186 pounds that will continue to fill out. Loose, quick arm that ran his fastball up to 89 mph, mostly sitting 86-88 with life. Mixed in a mid 70s slider with depth and an upper 70s changeup as well. From the left side of the plate offensively he shows the ability to drive the ball gap-to-gap which translated to a double off the left-center field wall during game action. Will continue to make overall jumps.
2027 C Matthew Wetherell (Trinity Catholic, FL)
Uncommitted. Present physicality throughout, notably in the lower half with present athleticism. Fast, strong hands from the right side with a present feel for the barrel, driving the ball with intent. During batting practice he drove several pitches not only deep into the left-center field gap, but hammered a few over the left field wall showing off his present juice with a top exit velocity reading of 99 mph. Behind the plate he sticks pitches well, keeps the ball in front of him, and shows a strong and accurate throw to the bag. Consistent low to mid 1.9 secs for his pop time. Works well with his pitchers and showcases a solid overall knowledge of the game.
2029 RHP/OF Carter Lewis (Lake Brantley HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Showed off big time potential at the event, notably on the mound where he ran his fastball up to 92 mph as the ball really jumped out of his hand. Long and athletic frame that will continue to add physicality, fill out. Fast arm that sits 88-91 and mixes in both a slider and changeup in the mid 70s. Works down in the zone, displays swing and miss stuff. From the left side of the plate he produced multiple line drives deep into right, center field with present juice during batting practice. Had one of the more impressive batting practices of his group. Topped out at 87 mph in his throws from the outfield. Clean range of motion that presents solid route running.
2028 OF/RHP Connor O'Hea (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with present strength throughout, will continue to add on. The hands are quick and loose from the right side, staying balanced throughout his swing. Works gap-to-gap with still more power to unlock. Rangy outfielder who makes accurate throws to the bag in the mid to upper 80s. Good understanding of footwork and the abilities to consistently be a quality defender. Ran his fastball up to 85 mph on the mound during bullpens, displaying good mechanics.
2028 MIF/RHP Ethan Jackson (Eustis HS, FL)
Stetson commit. Physical, athletic frame and was one of the top performers at the event as the overall skillset is impressive, showing multiple above average tools. The hands are fast and strong from the right side, allowing him to consistently drive the ball with intent, producing plenty of hard hit line drives into both gaps during batting practice. This translated to game action when he got ahold of one and hammered a no-doubt two-run home run over the left field wall in his first at-bat of the game. An above average arm that has been up to 90 mph on the mound previously, this was seen on his throws across the diamond which had carry and accuracy. Difference maker in the lineup.
2029 RHP/MIF Antonio Villalona (Spruce Creek HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Was another one of the top two-way standouts, showing his above average value as both a position player and arm. Lean, athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds. Loose, fast arm that ran his fastball up to 89 mph (has been up to 90 previously) and sitting 86-88 while mixing in a low 80s changeup and a mid 70s slider. More in the tank. Offensively the hands work through the zone, finding the barrel often for hard line drives. Look for jumps in gap-to-gap paper to come as he fills out his frame. Confident defender up the middle with accurate throws across the diamond topping out at 87 mph.
2028 MIF Brooks Markow (St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Continued to shine as an overall prospect, consistently finding a way to make an impact. Prototypical leadoff hitter who takes quality ABs, works the count, and can drive the ball both ways for hard line drives. This was seen not only during batting practice, but during game action as well when he delivered an RBI single. An above average runner who gets good jumps on the pitcher, creates pressure on the base paths. Confident defender up the middle with lateral agility, accurate throws across the diamond. A must have player in the lineup.
2027 RHP/IF Xavier Roman-Giannuzzi (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Continues to be a consistent two-way standout, running his fastball up to 87 mph during bullpens, mostly sitting 85-86. Quick, over the top arm slot. Also mixed in a changeup at 79-80 mph, a slider at 77-78 mph, and a curveball at 74-75 mph, all for strikes. The swing and miss material is there with a full feel for his arsenal. Offensively, presents quality physicality and understanding of his motions, showing the ability to produce line drives to all fields. Confident defender up the middle as well as he fields the ball under control with accuracy on his throws. Finds a way to make an impact in multiple ways.
2029 RHP Connor Ashley (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Was able to display a quick arm, the fastball topped out at 86 mph while sitting 84-85. Showcased a low 80s slider with depth and a changeup that had late fade at 80-81 mph. Impressive showing from a young arm that felt comfortable, moved consistently, and has more left in the tank. Overpowered hitters, trusted the whole arsenal and got the body behind each pitch. Potential is there for all the skills to progressively grow at a solid rate. Can be a trusted top of the rotation arm with confidence maintained in every scenario.
2027 RHP Noah Adkins (Hagerty HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame standing at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds with present strength in the lower half. Was one of the top arms at the event both during bullpens and game action, running his fastball up to 92 mph while sitting 90-91 which generated multiple swings and misses. Mixed in a mid 70s soldier that displayed depth, late action along with a low 80s changeup. Balanced throughout his delivery and pitches with poise. More in there and an arm that should find a home very soon.
2027 RHP Braxton Stalvey (West Orange HS FL)
Uncommitted. One of the more impressive showings in the bullpen. A lot of life on the fastball that sat 86-87 mph and showed quality command of his sweeping slider at 73-74 mph and changeup at 76-77 mph. In game action, displayed why all three pitches are effective at creating swing and miss and consistency. Fills the zone up. Generates from a ¾ whippy arm slot. Creates enough deception with the delivery to create timing issues for the batter. Physical frame that gets most out of his pitches.
2028 OF/1B Christian Kirtland (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Showcased a very impressive showing of batting practice. The ball jumps off the bat, an easy flowing barrel with quick hands from the left side. Quiet upper half with explosive swing. Trusts the control of his bat with abilities to go pull side with ease but still uses the middle of the field. Solid knowledge of zone presence. Moves well and generates productive defense with his routes, footwork, and release of the ball. One of the physical bats in the class during the weekend.
2027 C Nolan Bultema (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Displayed quick hands and a smooth stroke from the left side, generating a consistent barrel and an ability to spray the ball to all parts of the field. Produced multiple hard hit line drives during the past summer. Solid frame with real pull side power potential. Defensively calls a smart game behind the plate, generating relationships with his pitchers and slowing the run game down. Keeps pitches in the dirt in front of him, with a quick tendency to react quickly. A key part of any lineup, elevates a pitching staff.
2029 RHP/MIF Sawyer High (North Marion HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Ability to stay consistent as he uses a slim lengthy frame to showcase his arsenal. The fastball ran up to 84 mph (sat 82-83) while the curveball stayed at 70-71 mph. Promising look from the young arm. Offensively from the right side he was able to gather his mechanics and stay quick to the ball. The ball exits the infield with extra zip, even to the opposite field. Swing is in a good spot with still more power to come.
2030 RHP Colt Biaggi (Winter Springs HS, FL)
Young arm that stood out during his bullpen sessions as he worked downhill in a polished manner. Potential for added velocity in the lower half as he pushes off the rubber with momentum. Fastball got up to 80 mph while the curveball sat 65-66 mph with depth and a low 70s changeup. Look for multiple jumps in his overall stuff as he continues to mature, log outings on the mound.
