2025 Mid-Summer Uncommitted Standouts: 2026s

With the month of July upon us and the summer season just past the mid-way point, our scouting staff has had the opportunity to watch hundreds of players at various events. Today we are highlighting some of the top standouts who are still uncommitted and should be followed closely to finish out the summer season, upcoming fall season. Additionally, many mentioned below have recent videos that have been uploaded to our YouTube Channel. Tonight we begin with the 2026 class.

*Note: Players below have been seen by our scouting staff multiple times, giving us a great opportunity to properly evaluate and report back on their success throughout the summer so far. If you would like to find out more about individual player coverage please feel free to reach out to us on our website or any of our social media outlets. We are always eager to help promote and provide coverage to players that should be seen.

2026 IF Cole Travers (Florida Burn 26 Scout Team)
Physical, athletic frame and the hands are fast and strong through the zone with balance throughout his swing. Utilizes his lower half to drive the baseball while showing present gap-to-gap power. Has displayed the ability to hit high velocity arms. Game changing bat. Suited for the heart of the order to drive in runs.

2026 OF Caleb Smith (FL Elite 18u Scout Team)
Athletic, physical frame and the swing is simple with some present juice. Jumps all over the fastball and drives it. Look for increases in gap-to-gap power to come. Shown the ability to make tough plays in the outfield with his ability to track the ball with range. High-end athlete who is also nationally known for his ability on the football field as well.

2026 OF JJ Santiago (R3 Baseball)
Athletic frame with a stronger lower half. Demonstrates loose, easy working hands from both sides of the plate (switch hitter) Works in rhythm and is consistently on time to drive the ball. More gap-to-gap power to come. Above average runner as well who gets out of the box with intent.

2026 C Colin Thacker (Power/Blue Jays 26 Scout Team)
Present strength throughout with a physical lower half. Has consistently stood out behind the plate from a defensive perspective. Demonstrates strong wrists and the ability to stick pitches. Consistently gives us his body to block balls in the dirt and is a vocal leader. Offensively he displays the ability to drive the ball back up the middle and to the pull side with intent from the right side. Still more gap-to-gap power to unlock.

2026 RHP/IF Vaughn Osting (Ostingers 26 Green)
Long, loose frame that continues to become more physical. Quick arm and pounds the strike zone. Features a fastball that mostly sits in the 86-90 mph range with life along with an above average curveball at 73-74 mph with depth, shape. Throws the breaking ball not only for strikes, but gets plenty of swings and misses with it as well. Will mix an upper 70s slider as well. Occasionally mixes in an upper 70s changeup.

2026 RHP Hector Rivera (CBU 26 Scout Team)
Athletic frame and releases from a lower ¾ arm slot that creates deception, timing issues for the opposing batter. Runs his fastball up to 90 mph and mostly sits 87-89 with run. Mixes in the slider with depth in the low 70s that shows late movement. Gets uncomfortable swings and misses. More in there too.

2026 OF Carter Sprague (Ostingers 26 Black)
Lean, athletic frame and plays with energy. Valuable leadoff hitter with quick hands who shows above average plate discipline and works the count, finds a way on base consistently. Displays the ability to drive the ball anywhere on the field, using his above average speed on the base paths to not only create pressure, but collect extra base hits. Rangy defender as well.

2026 1B/LHP Matthew Logan (Power/Blue Jays 26 Scout Team)
Big, physical frame. Two-way standout so far this summer. On the mound he displays a quick arm and the mechanics have started to come together, resulting in a velocity jump from the spring when he was 85-88 mph to now in the upper 80s and low 90s with his fastball. Mixes in a mid 70s breaking ball that shows depth, shape. Offensively from the left side the hands are quick and strong through the zone, driving the ball with intent. Present pull side pop while driving the ball into the gaps as well.

2026 MIF/RHP Michael Miraglia (Natty Boys 17u)
Athletic frame with some present strength throughout, will continue to add physicality. Switch-hitter who displays fast hands from both sides of the plate. Gap-to-gap hitter from the right side, back up the middle/pull side from the left side. Confident defender up the middle. Above average runner who has stolen multiple bags. Gets good jumps and takes advantage on the base paths.

2026 OF Raymond Llanes (Ostingers 26 Green)
Present athleticism with a strong lower half. Has consistently stood out from the leadoff spot where he takes a quality at-bat and stays balanced throughout when driving the baseball. Works gap-to-gap which translates to extra base hits. Aggressive base runner, looks to take the extra bag. Shows above average range in the outfield with accurate throws to the bag.
