This year we will be announcing our 3rd annual Diamond Prospect Media Player of the Year Award for the 2024 high school season on Saturday morning, May 4th, 2024. This award encompasses a player who has not only had an outstanding year personally, but has elevated their team throughout the year and put them in a great position heading into the playoffs. From January 6th-7th the tryouts for Sports Academy Summer Teams 13u-17u were held at IMG academy in Bradenton, FL. On Saturday morning they started inside with cognitive training and broad jumps. In the afternoon they continued with their pro style showcase with fielding, BP, and pitching. On Sunday they split everyone into teams by class and played 10 inning games on 3 fields…
