Florida Burn 2026 Summer Tryout Series Standouts Part 3

On January 4th and 10th our scouting staff attended the Florida Burn 2026 Summer Tryout Series at Venice HS, FL which featured a pro-style workout for position players and bullpens for pitchers. Below is a list of players from the 2027-2030s (Part 3 of 3) that stood out and will be strong follows heading into the upcoming HS and summer seasons. Part 2 is HERE

2027 MIF Graham Houston (Venice HS, FL)
LSU commit. The switch-hitter showed above average bat speed from both sides of the plate, ripping the ball for hard line drives from the left side and power from the right side. Ball really jumps off the bat, works in rhythm. Moves well laterally, light on his feet as a defender with a collected and confident approach. ‘27 draft name to bookmark.

2027 RHP Cian Stephens (North Port HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds with present strength, notably in the lower half. Quick arm and works from a simple windup. During his bullpen he displayed a feel for his full arsenal, running his fastball up to 86 mph. Still more in the tank and threw both the changeup in the mid 70s and low 70s curveball for strikes.

2028 C Lincoln Webb (Venice HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-8, 160 pounds on a compact frame with present physicality. Stood out from an offensive perspective from the right side of the plate during batting practice as he did an excellent job of letting the ball get deep in the zone and generating power from his back half. 

2028 MIF Max Wilkerson (Bartram Trail HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-9, 150 pounds on an athletic frame that will continue to fill out, add physicality. Up the middle defensively he possesses controlled, athletic movements laterally. Quick transfers into clean and accurate throws across the diamond. Present bat speed from both sides of the plate. 

2029 RHP/3B Vince Fusco (St. John Neumann HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-9, 160 pounds with a stronger lower half. Stood out during bullpens as he flashed a plus breaking pitch (67-68 mph) that displayed depth and tighter spin with deception. Fastball up to 78 mph with ride. Arm that will continue to make multiple jumps.

2029 IF Dylan LaFlamme (St. John Neumann HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Tall, athletic frame that stands at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds that really projects. Continued to stand out offensively from the right side as the ball really jumps off the bat, finding the barrel often for loud, hard contact. Produced multiple line drives into the gaps, still more power to come. Showed off controlled and smooth actions up the middle defensively. Strong and accurate throws across the diamond topping out at 81 mph.

2030 C/3B Maximus Mangan (Windermere HS, FL)
Currently stands at 5-foot-7, 175 pounds with strength in the lower half which translated offensively during batting practice. From the right side he produced multiple quality swings through the zone, keeping the weight back and driving the baseball. Worked back up the middle and to the opposite field as well. 

2030 OF/RHP Hunter Nadeau (FL)
Currently stands at 5-foot-6, 130 pounds on a lean frame. Displayed a quality approach from the right side with quick hands and a feel for the barrel. Laced the ball back up the middle and into the left-center field gap multiple times. 

2030 MIF/RHP Griffin Tramel (FL)
Currently stands at 5-foot-5, 125 pounds. Filled up the strike zone during his bullpen as his fastball showed some run, sitting between 72-74 mph. Flashed a breaking pitch with depth and late sweep at 65-66 mph. Also showed off his athleticism in the infield. Above average range with quick feet. Showed the ability to make all the throws.
