2026 LHP/OF Carter Cox (Venice HS, FL)
Recent FAU commit. Has consistently stood out on the mound for his ability to throw his full arsenal for strikes and mix up his pitches well. Above average command of the zone. The fastball was up to 88 mph with life, mostly sitting 85-87. Still more in the tank and another jump could come fairly soon. The curveball at 73-75 mph displayed depth, tighter spin along with a 76-78 mph changeup with late fade. The arm is loose and easy working. Has shown the ability to get in a groove and put away a lineup.
2026 RHP/IF Ethan DeJesus (Sumner HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Showed off an electric arm, running his fastball up to 94 mph as the ball explodes out of his hand. Mostly pitched at 90-93 with 2330+ RPM while mixing in a wipeout slider at 82-83 mph with 2700+ RPM and a curveball with depth, hard break at 77-79 mph with 2600+ RPM. Present above average athleticism. Easily one of the top arms in his class still available. MLB Draft name to bookmark for next year.
2026 RHP Peyton Baum (Jensen Beach HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Shows real upside on the bump with a present feel for his full arsenal. Tall, athletic frame with room to still fill out. Features a fastball up to 87 mph with still more in the tank. Mixes in a 76-77 mph changeup that shows late fade along with a 72-74 mph curveball with depth, tighter spin. Works from a simple windup, quick arm. Look for a jump in velocity soon.
2027 RHP/OF RJ Shields (Venice HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Was one of the top standouts at the event, showing big time potential on the mound. Tall, physical frame with present strength throughout. Ran his fastball up to 93 mph while mostly pitching at 88-92 with 2400+ RPM. Mixed in an upper 70s slider that showed late action along with a low 80s changeup. The ball really jumps out of his hand. Generated plenty of swings and misses during his outing with multiple strikeouts.
2027 OF/C Anthony Holloway (St. John Neumann HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Present strength throughout and the hands are loose and quick through the zone from the right side. Finds the barrel for loud, hard contact and swings with intent. This translated to game action where he hammered a pitch over the left-center field for a home run. Ball really jumps off the bat when he’s on time. Middle of the order bat.
2028 C Taylor Reidy (St. John Neumann HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Present physicality throughout which translates to his overall game. Strong wrists and receives well, sticks pitches. Moves well laterally and is willing to give up his body to block pitches in the dirt. Throws to the bag are accurate and show carry with 1.94-2.0 secs pop time range. Offensively the hands are quick through the zone and drives the ball with intent. Present juice and ripped a ball deep into the right-center field gap for a double during game action.
